dc.description.abstractУ статті розглянуто комплекс підземних поховальних споруд курганів скіфів, до яких належать: основні гробниці, могили залежних осіб з різним майновим рівнем та допоміжні ями або катакомби для розміщення майна головного небіжчика. Підземні поховальні споруди розвивалися за схемою: ями - ями з нішами - прості катакомби - катакомби з двома синхронними входами - катакомби з довгими дромосами. Для поховань знаті першої половини V ст. до н. є. характерні великі квадратні в плані ями. Цей шар поховань відповідає часу Геродота і тому збігається з його описом похоронного ритуалу скіфів. До кінця V ст. до н. є. ями змінюються катакомбами простих форм, що протягом IV cт. ускладнюються.uk_UA
dc.description.abstractThe article is devoted to underground burial constructions in the Skythian barrows. Among them: main chambers, graves of the dependent people, and also supplementary pits or catacombs for burial goods of the deceased person. Development of the underground constructions could be described with the scheme: pits - pits with niches - simple catacombs - catacombs with two entrances made at the same time - catacombs with the long passages. The most common form for nobles graves in the first half of the Vth century BC was rectangular pit. This kind of graves existed at the time of Herodotus, who described Scythian burial ritual. The form of the burial construction changed from pits to simple catacombs at the end of the Vth century BC. Mentioned catacombs became during the IVth century BC more and more complex forms.en_US
