Abstract
Рецензія нового українського перекладу М. Еліаде "Пошуки. Історія та смисл в релігії".
The review deals with the new Ukrainian translation of The Quest: History and Meaning in Religion by Mircea Eliade. The book, first time published in 1969, is based on revised and supplemented articles from 1961– 1967, written in Chicago. Thus, it can be considered the result of Eliade’s first American decade. It is famous for the concept of the "New Humanism". The Quest is the third book by Eliade published in Ukraine. The translation is done on a high professional level by Anna Maria Basauri Ziuzina, herself a specialist in the field of Religious Studies. The scholarly editor of the book is Alexander Sarapin, a well-known researcher of Eliade in Ukraine.
