Abstract
The presence of pottery kilns of sophisticated construction
is considered to be a sign of not only high technological level, but also a certain level of public organization associated
with their use. For a long time, the finds of pottery kilns
in the settlements of Trypillian culture were random. After
a large–scale magnetic survey in Moldova and Ukraine in
2009 – 2016 with the use of the latest equipment, the prospect of a systematic study of these interesting and important
objects has been found. The new (for Copper Age) kind of
installations — multi-channel kilns — was discovered. Today
we know about 12 such kilns, existed between 4100 – 3300
BC and belonged to four different local groups at different
regions of Trypillia.
