Дитяча література: до питання історичної періодизації

Abstract

Дитяча література розглядається як явище, що перебуває в постійному розвитку. У різні історичні епохи постійно змінюється співвідношення її естетичного, виховного й науково- пізнавального змістів. Тож саме незмінне "тіло" дитячої літератури, узяте за багато століть, постає як доволі компактне, якщо врахувати "тексти-мігранти", які то потрапляють, то зникають із дитячого "канону". У статті досліджується періодизація історії дитячої літератури, її специфічний зміст і особливості кола дитячого читання.

Children’s literature is treated here as a constantly developing phenomenon. Different historical periods establish different proportions of aesthetical, educational, and cognitive elements. Therefore, the main body of children’s literature generated in the course of many centuries is rather compact, especially if we consider the "wandering" texts which are sometimes taken into the canon of children’s literature and sometimes are excluded from it. The paper explores the periodization of children's literature, its specific substance and the basic peculiarities of canon of children’s reading.
