Abstract
Статтю присвячено дослідженню явища ґендерної чутливості та аналізу зв’язку ґендерних стереотипів з певним видом ґендерної чутливості в міжособистісних стосунках учнів середніх класів.
This work analyzes the essence of basic concepts related to gender and examines the conditions for the formation of gender in the interpersonal relationships of teenagers in modern conditions. There are many approaches to defining the concept of “gender”, because gender issues are studied from a variety of scientific approaches, and therefore each of them has an urgent significance. In accordance with the theme of scientific work, we studied gender sensitivity in the pedagogical aspect, and identified it as a set of personal beliefs which testify to the ability of a person to feel certain social problems from the “gender” point of view. Gender sensitivity comes from a broader concept of gender culture, which deals with the relationships between male and female representatives in general. Consequently, the gender sensitivity of a teenager is influenced by the stereotypes that exist in society and are transmitted in interpersonal communication. According to the data obtained in our experiment, we were not able to fully confirm the connection of gender stereotypes with the gender sensitivity of teenagers. Since the sample generally consisted of teenagers who are not yet fully aware of their gender characteristics, it is difficult to judge about the influence of gender stereotypes. The data from the “Orientation to Traditional or Egalitarian Relations” test indicates that most respondents have an average gender sensitivity, and given the small sample size, it can be assumed that even respondents who are in a group with high and low sensitivity tend to an average level of sensitivity. But these data cannot be considered absolutely reliable, as there have not been confirmed by other types of dependence between stereotypes and egalitarianism.
