Abstract
У статті розглянуто організацію та зміст вивчення правознавства в закладах середньої освіти
на території сучасного Закарпаття в період до 1945 р. Правову освіту на території Закарпаття
було запроваджено набагато раніше, ніж в інших регіонах сучасної України. Проаналізовано зміст
правових елементів у різних навчальних курсах та особливості організації правової освіти в середній школі 1777–1945 рр. на території сучасного Закарпаття.
Description
The article researches the organization and content of teaching the law at secondary education
establishments on the territory of modern Zakarpattia before the year 1945.
In Zakarpattia, legal education was implemented much earlier than in other regions on modern Ukraine.
We analyzed the content of different legal education elements in various school courses and the peculiarities
of the secondary legal education in 1777–1945 on the territory of modern Zakarpattia.
One of the most important peculiarities of Ukrainian history is that for a long time the territory of
modern Ukraine belonged to different states. This caused the existence of significant differences in
development of all social life aspects, education in particular. The educational plans and curricula differed
substantially in different territories.
The are researches on education history and modern legal education (R. Artsyshevsky, V. Dubrovsky,
I. Kolyada, O. Pometun and others) that cover the issue of the content of the social and particularly legal
aspect of the education in different historical periods. However, legal education in the states which included
the territories of modern Ukraine, such as Austria-Hungary and Czechoslovakia, has not been properly
researched.
In Zakarpattia secondary school in the last quarter of the 18th century, there were legal studies materials
included in the curricula. And during the Austria-Hungarian period it is still in the secondary curricula.
During the Czechoslovakia republic period (1930s) secondary school students were supposed to master
extended legal knowledge, while the main aim of the legal (and social) education was targeted by the course
“Citizen studies” that supposed using various teaching methods and techniques.
