Abstract
Changes in Slavic political and social systems: from primitive pagan social order to feudal and capitalist system, from soviet atheist to nowadays democratic Christian system - are represented on the level of word stems and formal structure semantics of proper nouns in Ukrainian language. It is being observed in specific principles, methods and motives of onim nomination, in production of means and manners of the word-formation, in correlation and interaction between specific and foreign names in the system of the investigated toponimia.
