dc.descriptionAccording to Slavoj Žižek, the sphere of ideology is the sphere of praxis, not the sphere of discourse; only in the sphere of praxis, we can diagnose its work; at the same time, in the sphere of discourse we live in the postmodern age of ’after ideology’, with the same cynical attitude to all ideologies. The political philosophy of Marquis de Sade is an integral part of Enlightenment philosophy and Liberal thought. In such status, it is declaring the equality of all the citizens and the emancipation of all so called ’deviant’ practices. At the same time, in the sphere of praxis in modern postliberal societies, the political philosophy of Marquis de Sade is the mechanism of identity, sexual enjoyment, market development; it legitimizes poor people in the status of consumer objects (different forms of sexual and body alienation: prostitution, sex tourism as sex colonialism, pornography, etc.). Karl Marx has written about the Plato’s Republic as an idealization of Egypt cast system; according to Karl Marx, because of Plato’s noble social status, his Republic is a model of consumer, not producer, communism. We can say almost the same about the Marquise de Sade’s Utopia: it is an idealization of common to the 18th century of his father’s, Jean-Baptiste-François-Joseph, comte de Sade and his uncle’s, Voltaire’s close friend, Jacques-François-Paul-Aldonce de Sade, abbot d’Ébreuil, aristocratic leisure time. At the same time, because of his noble social status, his social utopia is a philosophical model of consumer, not producer liberalism. That means that the study of political praxis of Marquis de Sade’s philosophy in modern postliberal societies makes his philosophy an integral part of Critical theory in the sequence with such great political philosophers as Karl Marx, Max Horkheimer, Theodor Adorno, et al.en
dc.description.abstractУ статті розглянуто практичне втілення політичної філософії Маркіза де Сада в сучасних постліберальних суспільствах. Як невід’ємна частина політичної філософії Просвітництва і ліберальної думки, на рівні дискурсу політична філософія Маркіза де Сада постулює рівність всіх громадян, проте її практичне втілення грає на користь найзаможніших верств населення, збільшуючи їхні ринки споживання і леґітимізуючи постачання найбідніших як об’єктів їхнього споживання (проституція, секс-туризм як секс-колоніалізм, порноґрафія). А це означає, що дослідження політичної філософії Маркіза де Сада ставить його в один ряд із Карлом Марксом, Максом Горкгаймером, Теодором Адорно та ін. як мислителя критичної теорії.uk
