In this article, we propose to familiarize ourselves with the first metagraphed and described text of the sermon "On the Resurrection of Christ and the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary", which is interesting in terms of content, presentation, oratory skills, and philosophical views of the author. The sermon contains information that allows us to date the compilation of the collection, since until now the chronology has been determined only approximately. In the article accompanying the publication of the source, the authors suggest that the sermon itself should be dated March 25, 1695. The accompanying article also analyzes the linguistic features of the sermon, in particular, the tendency to record Ukrainian linguistic features in writing, despite the dominant Church Slavonic book tradition, which is clearly expressed in the sermon published here. The authors describe the peculiarities of the transmission of the sounds of live speech, certain grammatical phenomena, and stylistic devices.Проповіді митрополита Київського, Галицького і всієї Руси, талановитого оратора й мислителя XVII ст. Варлаама Ясинського досі не знайомі широкій аудиторії, оскільки вони збереглися в єдиному рукописному примірнику. У цій статті пропонується для ознайомлення уперше метаграфований та описаний текст казання "На Воскресіння Христове та Благовіщення Діви Матері", цікавий як за змістом, так і з погляду ораторської майстерности та філософських поглядів автора. У проповіді міститься інформація, яка дозволяє датувати укладання збірки, адже досі її хронологію визначали лише приблизно. Окреслено мовні особливості проповіді, зокрема вказано на тенденції до фіксації на письмі українських мовних рис – попри панівну церковнослов’янську книжну традицію, яскраво оприявнену в публікованому казанні.
