The historiography of the manuscript’s study is analyzed, its full title is provided, its structure is examined, and the watermarks of the paper used in it are described. Based on the study of the signatures of the individuals who worked on the translation, it has been established that it was created in the 1730s to early 1740s by students of the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy as an assignment in the course of learning the Polish language. Among them were, in particular, the future rector of the Academy and eventually bishop Hryhorii (Heorhii) Konyskyi, as well as Professor Ivan Yaroshevskyi. The appendix provides a complete list of translators along with the fragments translated by each of them. Both the main text and the appendix also contain information — based mainly on published sources and scholarly literature — about the education of most of these individuals at the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. It was discovered that at the specified time there were four students of this institution, who are not mentioned in the scholarly literature.Стаття присвячена єдиному відомому на сьогодні українському рукописному перекладові "Хроніки Європейської Сарматії" Алессандро Ґваньїні з польськомовного краківського видання 1611 р. Проаналізовано історіографію дослідження рукопису, розглянуто його структуру, описано філіграні використаного паперу. На підставі вивчення підписів осіб, котрі працювали над перекладом, встановлено, що він був створений у 30-х — на початку 40-х років XVIII ст. студентами Києво-Могилянської академії як завдання при вивченні польської мови. Серед них, зокрема, були майбутній ректор Академії, згодом єпископ Григорій (Георгій) Кониський і професор Іван Ярошевський. Наведено повний список перекладачів із зазначенням фрагментів, виконаних кожним з них, а також інформацію про навчання більшості в Академії, встановлену переважно за опублікованими джерелами та науковими публікаціями.
