(голова) та ін. ; Національний університет "Києво-Могилянська академія". - Київ : КМ Академія, 2003. - С. 82-94.https://ekmair.ukma.edu.ua/handle/123456789/14010У статті аналізуються зрушення в історичній науці України на десятому році її незалежності в бік критичного підходу до таких ключових проблем радянської історіографії, як початки національної історії окремих східнослов'янських народів, а також проблеми давньоруської народності як спадщини радянської партійної науки.This article analyzes the progress of Ukrainian historical science using the critical approach to the crucial points of Soviet historiography: the origins of separate East-Slavic nations and problems of Old Rus nationality as a heritage of Soviet party science. The author comes to a conclusion that Ukrainian nationality was formed in the early Middle Ages like other nationalities of European middle region. The foundation of Byelorussians and Russians began later (ІХ-ХІІ centuries) on the local Baltic and Finnish substance under the strong influence of Old Ukrainians from Dnipro region and Volyn. Modern ethnology doesn 't prove the existence of united Old Rus nationality.
