Researcher defines features of the way narator, or romantic lyric hero, comprehend surroundings, illustrated in the figurative picture of the poem, and his own place in it. Special attention is concentrated on the image of nature and lyric heroine, from the description of which by lyric hero author forms characteristics of the last one.Об'єктом аналізу у статті є твір поета XIX cm. Вільяма Вордсворта «Самотня жниця» («The Solitary Reaper»), один із прикладів літератури романтизму. Дослідник окреслює характерні риси того, як наратор -романтичний ліричний герой - осмислює оточення, уособлене в образній картині вірша, а також: своє місце в ньому.
