Ukraine is multilingual. Ukrainian, the official language, is spoken alongside Russian and minority languages like Romani, Crimean Tatar, Hungarian and Gagauz. Ukrainians affected by the war face multiple language challenges, and barriers to communicating their needs and accessing information and services.
