It is possible to distinguish two types of social critique in the context of Habermas’ philosophy – a reflexive one and a communicative one. Both theoretical constructs are based on the model of normative-empirical science. However, if the main role in the reflexive critique belongs to its hermeneutical component, in the communicative one it is shifted to a normative-transcendental level.Магістерська робота присвячена розглядові критичної соціальної теорії Юрґена Габермаса, – її основних понять та становлення. В контексті Габермасової творчості можна виокремити два типи соціальної критики, – рефлексійну та комунікативну.
