Possible ways of researching them within the postcolonial methodological framework are discussed. Research hypotheses and question for further comparative studies of (n) ostalgias are developed based on the assumptions of postcolonial theories.Ностальгію за соціалістичним минулим у Центральній та Східній Європі як складне явище з різними компонентами розглянуто на прикладах Східної Німеччини та України. Аналізуються можливі способи дослідження цього явища в межах постколоніального методологічного підходу.
