We define the elements of the kurhan structure that could be compared to the similar ones in the synchronous monuments of the Lower Dnieper and Molochnaya river. The version of the burial of the priestess of the great goddess in this Eastern tomb kurgan is reviewed in the article. The simultaneity of all three of its graves is fixed in Berdyansk kurhan. This fact is the reference for understanding of the interrelation of underground constructions in a single burial complex. Such a system can be traced in kurhans of the representatives of Scythian elite of the period of Berdyansk kurhan as well as in later times.У статті проаналізовано соціальну позицію відомого елітного скіфського поховального комплексу, розкопаного у м. Бердянськ у 1977-1978 рр. Матеріали кургану співвідносяться з синхронними пам’ятками Нижнього Дніпра і Молочної. Запере- чується версія про поховання жриці В еликої богині в Східній могилі цього кургану. Бердянський курган є еталонним для розуміння взаємозв’язку підземних споруд в єдиному поховальному комплексі.
