У праці висвітлено історичні передумови її виникнення та розвитку, досліджено проблеми участі києвомогилянців у відродженні Української держави, приділено увагу їхнім зв'язкам із козацтвом, гетьманською державою, вказано на значення КМА в єднанні українських земель. Увага приділена ролі могилянців в інтеграції України у загальнослов 'янський і світовий куль турні процеси.This study examines the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy's role in social life of Ukraine in the 17th—18th centuries. The integral situation of the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy origin and development, its significance for the Ukrainian national statehood revival, the Academy's relations with the Cossacks and the Ukrainian Hetman State as well as its character and importance in the unification of the Ukrainian lands has been revealed in the paper. It had been noted that the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, the politics and activity of the Ukrainian Cossacks-and-Hetman Christian-and-democratic State gave a powerful incentive to the revival and development of the Ukrainian statehood during the modern period of Ukrainian history.ukКиєво-Могилянська академіясуспільне життяУкраїнасвітова культураArticle
