In particular, it focuses on technology modes of nitrogen transfer into the gas phase, the obtaining of calcium oxide from sediments, the effects of sediment added to the soil on green biomass germination and growth of the cereals and the Cucurbitaceous crops. In the process of stripping ammonia in an alkaline environment, it is observed that the volume of air and its speed must make 7.5 dm3/min for the temperatures of 20 °C. At the temperature of DWW of 40 °C it is economically expedient to reduce the intensity of its pressurization to 3.0 dm3/min. Bringing of alkaline sediment with high maintenance of salts in the soil negatively affects the growth of plants, though it stimulates the process of germination of grain-growing. Growth of pumpkin is considerably repressed, in comparison to grain-crops, which is caused by high salt of soils and less resistance of pumpkin to this index. In addition, high amount of toxic substances stipulates pointlessness of bringing of such sediment in soil. From the ecological and economic point of view, it is rational to obtain the oxide of calcium from sediment by a thermal method, to be reused on the stage of cleaning DWW by reagents.У статті наведено експериментальні дані щодо отримання товарних продуктів з відходів очищення дренажних стічних вод звалищ сміття, а саме режимів технології переведення в газову фазу азоту; отримання оксиду кальцію з осадів.
