З одного боку, в атмосфері чимраз більшої політичної самосвідомості етнофорів етнічні партії прагнули реалізовувати конкретні політичні завдання, а з іншого – їхня діяльність була результатом суспільних реалій західноукраїнської етнополітичної сфери.This article found that the Jews remained one of the prominent subjects of Western-Ukrainian ethno-political sphere of the late 19th – early 20th centuries, and their ethno-political mobilization, primarily due to the activity of their political parties, was an imaginary witness to the transformation of the Jewish community’s ethnic nation to protect its group rights in Galicia and Bukovina. All Jewish parties that operated in Galicia and Bukovina were defenders of national-personal autonomy (union representatives of the Jewish nation not on a territorial basis, and because of individual union excluding residence), which is considered the key districts (kahal). Jewish political parties united to profess their own methods of protecting ethnic groups, the requirements of actual equality in political and social spheres, and managing cultural claims. Settlement of the Jewish national problem, despite the dispersion of the Jews, their confessional identity and lack of social structuring, treated as the alpha and omega of political orientations of ethnic political parties of different (autonomist, right, left) direction. In their programmatic requirements prevailed protective strategies – like those who sought to revive the nation state and those who were opposed to idea of Zionism.ukдискурсєврейський дискурсетнополітична сфераєвреїУкраїнаісторіясіонізмстаттяArticle
