The author examines the legality of use the grounds for restriction of this freedom and the different types of governmental interference with its implementation. Special attention is paid to the European court judgments given versus Ukraine.Статтю присвячено розгляду свободи мирних зібрань, демонстрацій, що закріплено у ст. 11 Європейської конвенції з прав людини, та аналізу її тлумачення Європейським судом з прав людини.
