Abstract
The article suggests contrastive nominative categorization of rites terms in the Slavic languages. It is connected with such genetic layer of ceremony as buying-selling and marriage agreement. The object under investigation is the ceremonial actions, the participants and the units, which denote prewedding or wedding cycle of the ritual and constitute lexicosemantic field of the ceremony. From the viewpoint of structural and arial typology the lexico-thematic group «gift, ranson, dowry» is analyzed within the frame of the opposition «to take — to give». The correlations of these nominative units in terms of their form and contents are revealed. The reconstruction of lexical archetypes connected with idea of an exchange through a prism of mythological concepts, semiotical structure of rituals and their invariant basis is offered.
