Abstract
У статті досліджено зв’язки між мовою та ідеологією на прикладі поглядів Людвіґа
Вітґенштайна (1889–1951), Михаїла Бахтіна (1895–1975), Валєнтіна Волошинова (1895–1936),
Ролана Барта (1915–1980), Умберто Еко (1932–2016), Поля де Мана (1919–1983), Тена ван Дейка
(нар. 1943), Мішеля Пешо (1938–1983), Ернесто Лакло (1935–2014) і Шанталь Муф (нар. 1943).
Акцент зроблено на теорії мовних ігор. Простежуються впливи ідей «кола Бахтіна» на теорію
ідеології. Вивчаються концепція міфології Барта та риторичний вимір ідеології у Еко і де Мана.
Аналізується теорія Пешо й простежується тлумачення владних відносин у політичних програмах,
промовах, проповідях тощо. Досліджено погляди представників критичного аналізу дискурсу - ван Дейка, Лакло і Муф.
Description
This article is an attempt to cover general topics of interrelation between language and ideology. The
paper examines Ludwig Wittgenstein’s (1889–1951), Mikhail Bachtin’s (1895–1975), Valentin Voloshinov’s
(1895–1936), Roland Barthe’s (1915–1980), Umberto Eco’s (1932–2016), Paul de Man’s (1919–1983),
Teun Adrianus Van Dijk’s (1943), Michel Pcheux’s (1938–1983), Ernesto Laclau’s (1935–2014), and
Chantal Mouffe’s (1943) contributions to contemporary theories of ideology.
The article emphasizes the development of Ludwig Wittgenstein’s theory of language-games and its
influence on the understanding of ideology. Then the author traces the main impacts on the theory of
ideology that were elaborated in ‘Bachtin circle’, first of all in Voloshinov’s semiotic theory of ideology,
where reality is manifested by social signs.
The author carries out an interpretation of such elements of ideology as Barthes’ doctrine of myth in
both left and right political wings and rhetorical dimension of ideology in Eco’s and de Man’s works. While
analyzing the Pcheux’s concept of interdiscourse, the author traces the continuity of topics and interprets
power relations in political programs, speeches, sermons, pamphlets, etc. as ideological forms.
Finally, the approaches of Teun Van Dijk, Ernesto Laclau and Chantal Mouffe are considered as those
of the representatives of critical discourse analysis.
