Abstract
У цій статті автор розвиває висловлену раніше думку про важливість вивчення персональної репрезентації дослідницьких і дидактичних практик у царині вітчизняного біблієзнавства, зокрема в Київській духовній академії. Дослідження саме в такому аспекті уможливлене через застосування біографічного підходу в гуманітарних студіях. Біблійні студії у КДА постають як дослідницька та освітня традиція, формована й утримувана не лише інституційно, а й на перетині "життєвих світів", "життєвих історій" конкретних вихованців і професорів. Наведено приклади реконструкції їхніх наукових, богословських і педагогічних біографій. Привернуто увагу до ще досі не опрацьованих архівних документів, які розкривають персональні механізми наукового пошуку та богословської творчості видатних київських біблієзнавців.

This paper develops a previously expressed opinion about the importance of studying the personal representation of the researching and teaching practices in the field of biblical studies in Kyiv Theological Academy. the research in that aspect became possible through the use of biographical approach in umanitarian studies. Thus, we can speak about biblical studies in KThA as the research and educational tradition, which was founded and held not only institutionally but also through the intersection of certain scientists and theologians "life worlds" / "life stories". There are some examples of reconstruction of the scientific, theological and pedagogical biographies of
KThA professors, which found itself in the field of biblical studies and teaching. Their professional activity was the true "vocation" and "life’s work". So, it marked a dramatic collision between theological and scientific discourses. The need to preserve the Orthodox faith as the way of spiritual
salvation which was rooted in their personal life experience met and contradictory interacted with their professional skills as the researchers, armed with significant achievements of various sciences. This article also draws attention to the unpublished and not yet processed archival documents (mostly handwritten), which are revealing personal mechanisms of scientific research and theological works of Bible scholars and teachers who have studied and worked in the KThA. Thus we see that through the biographical approach, a new powerful resource is growing up for the study of theological, philosophical, and educational aspects of Kyiv spiritual and academic culture.
