dc.description	The article focuses on the research of the types of language personality on the basis of communicativesemiotic approach to discourse analysis suggested in 1990 by the author. Four elementary types of language personality are singled out: argumentative, motivational, pragmatic, and accumulative. Total number of combined types of language personality (accumulative-pragmatic, argumentative-motivational-pragmatic etc.) reached the total number of 54. The correctness of the theoiy of linguistic personality suggested by the author is proved by the correspondence of three narrative types of language personality to the three possible types of utterance development in discourse: defining, proving, and applying.	en
