Abstract:
Досліджено тему музично-театральної основи жанровості та стилю Гофманової прози, зокрема і вплив зінгшпілю Моцарта. Розглядаються контраст, різноманітність та різнохарактерність як принципи побудови дії та групування персонажів, маска та її емоційна моторика як спосіб розкриття психології героїв, "двосвітність" тощо як естетичні виміри, співзвучні з музичносценічною естетикою передромантичної та романтичної опери.

The paper deals with the musical and theatrical basis of genre and style of Е. Т. А. Hoffmann's literary prose, with special accent оп W. A. Mozart's influence. The author explores the principles of contrast, variety of action and diversity of masks which underlie the modeling of the plot and the alignment of characters. Тhе issues of mask and tts emotive dynamics as а means of revealing of the characters' consciousness, as well as the dual-wor1d principle are treated here as aesthetic dimensions in tune
with musical and theatrical aesthetics of pre-romantic and romantic opera.
