У роботі було вивчено фразеологічні одиниці та біблеїзми англійської та української мов. А також досліджено фразеологію як науку, охарактеризовано її класифікацію, представлено провідних науковців, які вивчали фразеологію, та наведено джерела фразеологічного фонду. Вивчено біблійну фразеологію в драматургії Шекспіра.
The phraseological units and biblicalisms of the English and Ukrainian languages were studied in this work. Phraseology as a science is also studied, its classification is characterized, the leading scientists who studied phraseology are presented, and the sources of phraseological fund are given. Biblical phraseology is Shakespeare’s drama has been studied.
