У статті йдеться про дослідження топонімів Канади українського походження та
особливостей виявлення їхньої лінгвокультурної специфіки. Актуальність такої розвідки
визначається відсутністю комплексних дослідженнь топонімікону Канади, а також у
потребі в окресленні творення та походження таких найменувань.
The article deals with the study of Ukrainian origin Canadian toponyms and the
peculiarities of identifying their linguistic and cultural specifics. The relevance of such exploration
is determined by the lack of comprehensive research on the toponymicon of Canada, as well as the
need to define such names creation and origin.
