У статті порушено проблему освоєння в сучасній українській мові іншомовної
лексики, зокрема специфіки входження запозичень до груп слів певних поняттєвих категорій. Зроблено спробу вивчити ономатологічний характер іншомовних
слів на рівні творення від них похідних одиниць, що, набуваючи ознак тих чи тих
граматичних класів, стають компонентами різних ономатологічних категорій;
через співвідношення словотвірної й ономатологічної структур виявлено приховані елементи складників ономатологічної структури слів.
The article is devoted to the problem of the mastering of foreign language
vocabulary in the modern Ukrainian language, in particular the specificity of the entry’
of borrowings into groups of words of certain conceptual categories. An attempt is
made to study the onomasiological character of the foreign language words at the
level of creation of derivative units from them, they become components of various
onomasiological categories when it acquiring signs of those grammatical classes. The
attempt is made to discover hidden elements of the onomasiological structure of words
through the relationship of word-formative and onomasiological structures.
