Abstract

У статті висвітлені потенційні можливості використання супутникових знімків для перманентного моніторингу стану пам'яток культурної спадщини. Розкриті основні переваги подібного методу контролю, а саме: швидкість, дистанційність, економічність, юридична можливість використання знімків під час розгляду судових справ. У майбутньому логічним виглядає взаємозв ’язок подібної системи з іншими науковими, навчальними, туристичними програмами.

The article highlights the potential possibilities of using satellite images for permanent monitoring of the condition of cultural heritage sites. The main advantages of this method of control are revealed, namely: speed, remoteness, economy, legal possibility of using pictures in court cases. In the future, the relationship of such a system with other scientific, educational, and tourist programs seems logical. Therefore, the system of satellite monitoring of cultural heritage sites can solve the following tasks: Constant updating of information, the ability to create accurate topographic maps, assessing the impact of various economic activities on historical landscapes allows you to create up-to-date accounting documentation; Obtaining up-to-date and reliable information about the condition of the monument in any remote area; An important feature of information obtained from space images is its independence from any attempts to conceal information or restrict access to it (which is not uncommon when it comes to monument control of economic, construction, agricultural and other activities); Remote monitoring of the destruction of cultural heritage sites in combat zones, in areas affected by natural / man-made disasters; Preservation of historical landscapes; Fight against illegal land use; Prompt entry o f new data on monuments; Filling various GIS systems in the field of cultural heritage protection; The issue of revitalization of historical space; Significantly influence the development of scientific topics. According to the authors, the current state of development of remote sensing methods can solve a number of monument protection problems in the system ofprotection of historical and cultural monuments, provided that they are officially used by state bodies for the protection of cultural heritage.
