Abstract:
У статті проаналізовано шлях гетьманського уряду від Зборівської угоди 1649 р., якою визнано територіальну автономію Війська Запорозького в межах Київського, Чернігівського і Брацлавсько-го воєводств, до утвердження політичного статусу новоствореної Української козацької держави, зафіксованого у «Березневих статтях» 1654 р.

The article examines the transformation of the status of the Cossack state from the 1649 Treaty of Zboriv, which recognized its autonomy within the borders of the Kyiv, Chernihiv and Bratslav voivodeships, to the recognition of the political status of the newly established Ukrainian Cossack state in the 1654 “March Articles”.
