Abstract
У статті зроблено порівняльний аналіз деяких аспектів куріння (хімічний склад тютюнового диму, вплив на здоров'я, історія запобігання та мінімізації куріння) в США, Великобританії, Японії та Україні. Автор спробував зрозуміти, чому в цивілізованих країнах рівень куріння значно нижчий, на відміну від України, де рівень поширення куріння викликає серйозне занепокоєння.
Description
The comparative analysis of tobacco smoking in USA, Great Britain, Japan, and Ukraine is given. The principal aspects of hazardous habit to smoke such as chemical contents of tobacco smoke, health effects, history of prevention and minimization of smoking in civilised countries are discussed. Author try to understand why there is much less smoking in civilized countries in contrast to the Ukraine where it is widespread and provokes serious health problems.
