У статті розглянуто радикальну критику Ричардом Рорті значущості поняття істини у межах дефляційної теорії істини, яку він приписує Дональду Девідсону. Рортієву критику значущості
поняття істини експліковано як таку, що є риторичним (художнім) перебільшенням наслідків критики кореспондентної теорії істини.
In the paper Richard Rorty’s radical critique of the meaningfulness of the concept of truth within the defl
ationist theory of truth (ascribed by Rorty to Donald Davidson) is being analyzed. Rorty’s critique of the
meaningfulness of the notion of truth is shown to be a rhetorical overstatement of the consequences of
correspondent theory refutation.
