У статті розглянуто пам’ятки пеньківської культури з кочівницькими елементами, досліджені
в Полтавській області. Ці старожитності представлені житлобудівною традицією та поховальними пам’ятками. Хронологічно вони поділяються на два періоди: ранній (кінець V – початок VI ст.)
та пізній (середина VII ст.). За етнічною приналежністю це були нащадки черняхівського населення
та представники болгарської людності.
The article considers the monument with nomadic elements in Pencivka culture in Poltava region. These
antiquities are represented by the materials of dwelling construction tradition and entombment monuments.
Chronologically they are divided into two periods: early (late 5-th – beginning of the 6-th cent.) and late
(mid. 7-th cent.). By ethnic origin, these were the inheritors of Chernahiv people and representatives of
Bulgarian population.
