На основі історичного, етнографічного та археологічного матеріалів пропонується тлумачення
змісту билини "Ілля Муромець і Святогор". Особливу увагу приділено варіантам билини, в яких згадується жінка Святогора.
The interpretation of meaning of bylina “Illya Muromets and Svyatogor” is suggested in this article on
basis of historical, etnographical, and archaeological data. The author draws special attention to bylina
variants with records about Svyatogor’s wife.
