Статтю присвячено вивченню проблеми етногенезу українців у працях Леоніда Залізняка, який
переконливо доводить наукову обґрунтованість ранньосередньовічної концепції походження українців
та важливість її утвердження в українській науці, освіті та суспільній свідомості.
The article is devoted to studding of the problem of Ukrainians’ ethnogeny in the works of Leonid
Zaliznyak “Origin of the Ukrainian nation”, “Origin of Ukrainians in view of scientists, politicians and
fantasts”, “Origin of Ukrainians: among science and ideology” etc. In his works L. Zaliznyak proves
scientific ground of early Middle Age conception of the Ukrainians’ origin and importance of its statement
in Ukrainian science, education and social consciousness.
