Abstract
Статтю присвячено аналізу зображень дракона на творах прикладного мистецтва давніх
русичів, рельєфах християнських храмів, в іконографії XII-XIV cт. Автор виділяє специфічні
риси образу у східних слов'ян, простежує його трансформацію.
The article provides an analysis of images of dragon which can be found in the works of applied art of ancient people of the Kyiv Russ, in the sculptural elements of Christian temples, and in the iconography of the twelfth to fourteenth centuries. The Author emphasizes specific features of the dragon image in the Eastern Slavs' outlook and traces its transformation.
