Abstract
Розглядаються особливості влаштування городищ, їх планування, конструктивні особливості, типологія
споруд юхнівської культури. Здійснено спробу виявити хронологічні особливості житлових та господарських
об'єктів.
The main types of the Yukhnovo culture settlements are hillforts and non-reinforced settlements. The first ones prevail. We have every opportunity to pay attention to planning and constructive peculiarities of structures found in the process of numerous excavations of the Yukhnovo culture settlements. Long ground houses are inherent for an early stage of culture. In the process of time they are changed for small separately-built ground constructions. The walls of light construction made of thin, poles or interlaced twigs, are covered with clay. The main type heating system is an open camp-fire. Clay made stoves are rare. Semi-earth houses - are the third type of construction. They are not so widely known. The constructions were usually situated in the perimeter of hillforts, but there are some exceptions. The given conclusions are not fully proved yet and need further archaeological research and a detailed elaboration of the obtained material.
