Сучасний стан та перспективи дослідження проблеми "скіфського протекторату" над Ольвією в V ст. до н. е.

Abstract

У статті розглядається сучасний стан проблеми скіфського "протекторату" над Ольвією в V cт. до н. е., пропонуються нові шляхи розв'язання проблеми, робиться спроба залучення нових даних для її вирішення. Зокрема, розглядається можливість використання досягнень сучасного кочівникознавства та аналогій з інших історичних періодів існування Ольвійської держави - залежність від пізньоскіфського царя Скілура в II cт. до н. е. і сарматських царів Фарзоя та Інісмея в І cт. н. е. та ін.

Yu. G. Vmogradov worked out the theory about the Scythian protectorate over Olbia, though supposition about it already were at the papers of his predecessors. K. K. Marchenko supported and modified it. Some investigators did not agreed with this theory. The opponents' point of view was described at the article of S. D. Kryzhitskiy. The Scythians were the nomads, the Greeks - settled farmers. But none of investigators used the theoretical researches of nomads' studying for decision of the problem. These researches are analyzed at the article. And some version of their using for decision of the problem is proposed. Also the questions that need in more researches are underlined. The use of analogies from other historical periods of Olbia and some ancient poleis is proposed.
