Етнічні процеси на Русі в часи ранньофеодальної монархії

Abstract

Письмові та археологічні джерела дають підстави для реконструкції міжнародних зв'язків Південної Русі за часів ранньофеодальної монархії (кінець ІХ-початок XII cт.), коли Київ був столицею держави, а Середнє Подніпров'я вважалося "Внутрішньою Руссю". Серед автохтонів мешкали мігранти з інших слов'янських земель, а також представники кочових етносів Північного Надчорномор'я, вихідці зі Скандинавії. Міжнаціональні контакти були особливо інтенсивні у верхніх прошарках тогочасного суспільства, головною інтегруючою верствою якого була феодальна еліта.

Evidences of written sources and archeological data enable the reconstruction of the interethnical relations wich took place in the South of Rus during the times of the early-feudal Monarchy (the end of the IXth - the beginning of the XIIth centuries), when Kyiv was the center of the state, and the territory of the Middle-Dnieper area was considered to be the "Inner Rus". In the autochtonic midst the migrants from the other Slavonic territories as well as the representatives of the other peoples such as the nomads of the Black Sea steppes, NorthEuropean inhabitants (Scandinavians first of all) were also present. Such contacts were especially intensive in the upper social layers of that time society, and the very feudal elite was its main integral body.
