existentialist plays reveal the result of history's effect on the individual in Ukraine, as well as in
whole Europe. Using Barrett's description of the existentialist movement as a whole, one may see

The author pays a special attention to some aspects of Existentialism in Western Philosophy
and Literature (The Mood of the Individual, The Search in Freedom for One's Own Values and
for Self, Free Choice and Commitment, Zeitgeist, etc.).
