The paper deals with happiness as a notion of moral consciousness in two different socio-cultural contexts. Aristotle represented the conception of happiness as the final good. Contemporary awareness of happiness is specified by hedonism as a way of life, the force of luck with an accent of its contingency, and the direction on success with well-defined note "to use a chance".
