Abstract:
У статті проаналізовано взаємозв'язок між прототиповими і стереотипними ознаками БАТЬКА, які вербалізовані в українській літературі кінця ХІХ століття. Експлікація цієї мовної картини була зроблена за допомогою методу профілювання, розробленим Й. Бартмінським. Проведений аналіз дозволив описати деякі особливості категоризації та концептуалізації поняття сім'ї в українській культурі зазначеного періоду.

In the article is analyzed the correlation between prototypical and stereotypical attributes of the FATHER which are verbalized in Ukrainian literature of the late nineteenth century. The explication of this language image has been made with the method of profiling, developed by J. Bartminski. The analysis allowed to describe some features of categorization and conceptualization of the concept of family in Ukrainian culture of mentioned period.
