Abstract
Статтю присвячено такій формі професійної підготовки фахівців аграрної галузі, як дистанційне навчання. Здійснено аналіз факторів, підходів, поколінь дистанційного навчання та тенденцій
його розвитку й впровадження в Західній та Східній Європі.
Description
The article addresses such an unconventional form of professional training of agrarian specialists as
distance learning. The paper analyzes the factors and approaches to distance learning and focuses attention
on the generations and trends of distance learning, implementation of distance learning in Western and
Eastern Europe.
As it can be seen, distance learning is one of the most important forms of learning in the latest decades;
moreover, it has become one of the most important elements of the higher education system in the EU.
Implementation of the concept of lifelong learning requires a differentiated approach to the entire
process of training. Among the factors that influence the development and implementation of the distance
learning in the EU are organizational, pedagogical, technological, acmeological, and technocratical. In the
literature, there are several approaches to distinguish technologies of distance learning. One of those
technologies is based on using telecommunications, and the other is aimed to use information technologies.
The article reveals that the social objective and economic factors of the implementation of distance
learning in Western Europe are high dynamic and rapidly changing in technology, accompanied with the
emergence of new industries and new professions and occupations. Thus, implementation of distance
learning in Eastern Europe will allow for development of professional training of the agrarian specialists
and will facilitate access for a wider population. Recently in the EU there developed and were implemented
software disciplines modernizing the material base for NAM.
To conclude, using achievements of science and technology, ideas of integration of education and
production, searching of new pedagogical technologies, innovative forms and methods of distance learning
are the most prioritised trends in the development and implementation of the distance learning in the EU.
