This is a publication of the whole text of the important source, discovered in 1978. The first part represents an
adaptation of the "History of Poland" (1597) by Marcin andJoakhim Bielskis. Mainly Polish history from antient
times is narrated in the second part. The third and the most important part deals with the events of the Ukrainian
history, especially in the late 16th с and the first half of the 17th с It is based on the "Rus Chronicle', a relic,
which was not preseved in original.

«ІсторіїПольщі» (1597) Марціна та Йоахима Бєльських, у другій частині викладено переважно польську
історію з найдавніших часів. Третя, найважливіша частина твору, охоплює події української історії,
особливо останньої третини XVI - першої половини XVII ст. В її основі лежить «руська кроніка», не
збережений, на жаль, у чистому вигляді український літопис.
