Abstract
The article deals with the question of traditions on Cernihiv Collegium. Cernihi v Collegium (1700—1786) was founde d by L. Baranovyc h an d J. Maksymovych, the prominent representatives of the Academy, the distinguished men of church and culture, poets and writers. At the Collegium which was a notable in the 18th century the adductive and humanistic traditions and principles of the Academy were followed most fully and educational institutions. The author attempts to show the impact of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy on the curricula, poetic and rhetorical art, routine fundamentals and other aspects of every day life of the Collegium.
